Students’ academic burnout during limited face-to-face learning process in Sigi Regency

Academic burnout has emerged as the most commonly reported problem since Covid-19 pandemic, continuing into transitional period of limited face-to-face learning during post-pandemic phase. This study aimed to depict level academic among junior high school students in Sigi Regency after participating online learning. For this purpose, a descriptive quantitative survey was conducted, applying principles item total correlation. Out population 953 from two schools, 300 were randomly selected participants using simple random sampling technique. The results revealed that faced difficulties adapting process, which further exacerbated by challenges time management and reduced interaction due social restrictions. Students experiencing exhaustion heavy workload understanding material, they only able engage offline discussions.
